I have been loving a couple of things for the past couple of weeks and I want to share them with you. I split the sections up into practical and beauty.

Practical

1. Planner

First thing’s first, my planner has been super helpful in keeping my life organized and on track! I write down everything that I need to do for the day and the upcoming days or weeks. Also, since my memory is so bad I really need to write everything down.

This planner is super cute and it makes me want to actually keep up with it. It also came with cute stickers and paperclips. The interactivity that I have with it keeps me going back to.  

I got this planner from Home Goods and it costed between $8-$13.

2. Journal

I have been loving this journal lately. It has a cute saying on it that says, “take note.” This journal also has an attached bookmark made of ribbon. I thought this was really me because of the cursive print and the pink and gold theme.   

My mind is literally always racing with ideas and this journal helps me get them all down on paper before I forget them. My memory is truly terrible, (I don’t know how I manage to do well in school, lol.)

This journal was purchased from Home Goods for about $5.

3. Wireless Rose Gold Beats

I am absolutely in love with these wireless headphones. I love the color, as pink is my favorite. They are super convenient because there isn’t a cord getting tangled when I use it. It also blocks out most things around me, which I need because going to a university as big as the one I attend, I need something to block all of the commotions around me. There is always something going on or people talking but with these, I literally put them on and have a mission to get where I need to be. 

I got these from Best Buy when they were on sale. The associate was going to charge me full price for them but I saw that they were on sale online and I mentioned it to him. He then proceeded to give me the discount and it was pretty significant. Always be sure to ask about sales because they are always going on!

Beauty

4. Coconut Oil

Next, is my beloved coconut oil. I use this particular brand because it is sold in the convenience store on my campus and I use my meal plan to buy it. I do this to make sure I’m saving those coins in any way possible.

Coconut oil has done wonders for my face. Many people ask me how I get my skin to look clear and smooth and this has something to do with it. I use it to remove makeup at night and after I wash my face I use it to moisturize.

5. Tea Tree Oil

Another staple in my skincare routine is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is used to combat acne and dark marks. It is very strong so it must be diluted with another oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, or grapeseed oil, just to name a few.

I purchased this tea tree oil by Nature’s Love from TJMaxx for about $6.

6. Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray

This spray is absolutely amazing and it makes my skins feel very refreshed. I went through a smaller bottle of this and had to go back to Ulta to grab a bigger bottle. It was $12 for the bigger bottle compared to $7 for the smaller one.

7. Body Mist

Next, I have this Vanilla Lace body mist from Victoria’s Secret. It has been my go-to body spray when I’m running out of the door. You can never go wrong with vanilla! 

I bought it on sale for $6; it was originally priced at $18. It’s currently on sale on Victoria’s Secret website for $7. It’s all about catching those deals!

8. Lippies

Lipgloss has been my go-to for the past couple of months. I have been loving NYX butter glosses because they are smooth, pigmented and not sticky. 

I have the colors Ginger Snap and Praline. They both have hints of brown in them, Ginger Snap being the darkest of the two. They are the perfect nudes for darker skin! I also have Eclair which is a more pinkish tone and is good for lighter skin tones as a nude. 

These lippies are pretty cheap coming in at $5 each. I get these from Ulta or Target.

9. Card Holder

This card holder has been a lifesaver for me. I have been using my phone case as a cardholder and it has been really annoying. Now that I have a proper place to put my ID and other important cards I feel more comfortable and safe about them. I now know they are along with my keys and that they are not likely to get lost.

This card holder was free ? and it is by the brand Vera Bradley. Some of their associates were handing them out on my campus and I made sure to grab one. This came to me at the perfect time because I was looking to buy one. I believe that it retails for $12.

10. Motivational Words On My Wall

Last but not least, I have my motivational wall pictures and decorations. These are wonderful because they are a constant reminder to me of what I should strive for.

All of these decorations were purchased from Home Goods. The 4×4 pictures are pictures that I got from Tumblr, Instagram, etc, and they were printed by Shutterfly.
