Hey friends! Today I will be talking about the YouTubers that I enjoy watching. I love YouTube and could literally watch videos all day long. Once you start watching one, it is pretty difficult to stop because of the up next sidebar. It really gets you hooked.

I composed a list of video creators that I would run to first before anyone else. I have split up the list into lifestyle vlogs and beauty/fashion videos.

Let get straight into it. 

Lifestyle Vlogs

Jayla Koriyan

First, I have Jayla, who to me is literally the definition of a “lady boss.” Jayla is such an inspirational person because she works so hard for what she wants and shows that it possible to work hard and play hard. Jayla recently graduated college and she just started her hair business, Glam Textures and published a book called, Pretty and Educated. She started making YouTube videos in high school and continued when she got to college. I have literally been following her for so long that I feel like we’re girlfriends. When a person can make you feel like that they are genuine and doing their job right. 

She shows her daily life as a creator and a college student. One thing that I love about Jayla is that she is so real and transparent with us about things. When she knows that she is stressed, she tells us and shows that things aren’t all glitter and unicorns. I really appreciate that. I remember when she was going through a break-up she let us into that sensitive time of her life and that honestly made me connect with her so much more. She shows she’s a real person and doesn’t just do things for YouTube.

Amber Martin

Amber was a college vlogger but she also just recently graduated. She now makes videos about life after college and her daily lifestyle. I like watching Amber’s videos because she is really personable and funny. Amber is from the south and has a southern accent so it’s interesting to hear her and her family talk. She is herself and doesn’t do things just because they are in at the time.

Beauty/Fashion

Shahd Batal

Next, we have Shahd or Shay as she likes to say in the beginning of her videos. She is a hijabi Youtuber/creator and she is known for her impeccable style sense. I am absolutely in love with her outfits; they are such an inspiration. She is very sweet and I feel like a good representation of a modest Muslimah. She carries herself well and is very well spoken. She makes videos about her outfit choices, favorites of the month,  makeup/skincare videos, and so much more.

Glamtwinz334

The GlamTwinz are two fun and true to themselves young ladies. This duo consists of Kelsey, on the left, and Kendra, on the right. They started making videos about their natural hair and gradually evolved to doing makeup/beauty videos, fashion videos, and weekly vlogs. They are a great example for me on makeup because they have a similar skin tone as I do. 

If they don’t like something they will tell you and say whether its worth the money to buy a product or not. When I am taking a recommendation from them I know for sure the product is the bomb.com.

They also do sit down/conversational type of videos, which is their segment called Twins Talk. They answer questions from viewers and also have main topics to talk about. Some examples of what they talk about include, self-love, confidence, relationships, friendships, having goals, and independence. 

The GlamTwinz also have a book out called The GlamTwinz Guide to Longer, Healthier Hair. It’s a book about how they have grown and maintained their beautiful long hair. It’s available on Amazon; click here to check it out.

Jackie Aina

Next, we have Jackie Aina. Jackie is a beauty guru/makeup artist whose the person to go to if you want to find out if a product is worth purchasing or not. She makes videos reviewing new and raved about products. Most people think that she is going to annihilate a product because she is always so brutally honest. But, she always says in her video that she is going to be nice and she doesn’t know why people think she is going to go in on a product. She knows why. She feels that she always has to tell the turth about a product because people trust her. Personally, that is why I like to watch her videos. She is also another brown skin woman whose skin tone resembles mine.

Ms. AaliyahJay

Aaliyah Jay is a beauty guru who also has an amazing fashion sense. She started her YouTube journey when she was younger and has grown tremendously over the years. Her videos revolve mainly around make-up but she also does sit down videos, fashion hauls and lookbooks and on occasion, vlogs and storytimes. Aaliyah is from New York and you can tell from the way she speaks and handle things. I love it.

Habiba Da Silva

Habiba is a Muslimah with a beautiful heart. She has a sort of vibrancy or light when you watch her. She does videos about many things such as makeup tutorials, hijab tutorials, product reviews, vlogs, and challenges. She recently started her own hijab line, Habiba Da Silva.  Check it out here.

Chizi Duru

Chizi is a lifestyle content creator. She has such a homegirl, down to earth vibe about her and I absolutely love it. She started making videos about natural hair and made her way to making vlogs, and videos about skin care, fashion and advice/discussions. Chizi is an American born African and she shows her appreciation for her culture whenever she gets the chance.

Kyrah Stewart

Kyrah is a sweet 20-year-old from Bakersfield, California. She makes videos about make-up, skin care, and lifestyle. I have been watching her videos ever since she started and her channel has grown like wildfire. She originally started youtube with her then boyfriend, now husband, Kaelin. She then made the leap to make a beauty channel for herself and she has been very successful. She uploads very often and keeps her viewers engaged. Her personality is so genuine and bubbly; it’s contagious and puts me in a better mood every time I watch her.

NaturalNeiicey

Last but not least, is the lovely Natural Neiicey. She is a Canadian who loves to travel and try new things. Her main channel is about natural hair, fashion, and beauty. She also has a vlog channel that she uploads on frequently. Neicy travels to many different places and documents her journeys. She also has a channel with her boyfriend, Brian, called Black Love Lives.
