I have tried this DIY African Black Soap as a face wash, body wash and a shampoo. I must say that my favorite uses of this product is as a shampoo and face wash! For the face wash, I added a squirt of jojoba oil and rose hip seed oil since those oils are amazing at moisturizing the face. They resemble the natural serum that is already in our skin, so it is not overly greasy but still super moisturizing.
Using this as a shampoo is amazing because it cleans the scalp very well, but also leaves your stands nice and moisturized!
Now as a body wash, I would personally tweak the recipe a bit. I think that it needs less liquid and more soap. Indeed it is moisturizing, but I hate having to continuously add more soap to my exfoliating glove. So need time that I make this Gel African Black Soap I will add a little less water and more soap and moisturizing agents.
I hope that this was helpful! If you decide to give it a try be sure to tag me in your stories on Instagram so I can see your finished products!
Peace and love
