Hi queens and kings! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I am back with another simple skin care DIY.
Quick side note: anyone excited about Fenty Skin & plan on buying? She just dropped a video that her line is CLEAN! I love that. She is also very interested in sustainability and being environmentally friendly. I’m still pondering on it though. Adding new things into my skin care routine can be risky lol. Let me know what your plans are!
Okay, let’s get to it!

Coffee Sugar Scrub
Ingredients you will need:
- 3 tbs Ground Coffee
- 2 tbs Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Raw Honey
- 1 dash Cinnamon
Steps:
- Add all dry ingredients (coffee, brown sugar, cinnamon) into a bowl.
- Then add honey and coconut oil.
- Lastly add in olive oil and mix ingredients but not too much because we want the scrub to be grainy enough to get rid of dead skin.
Benefits of these power ingredients
Coffee: caffeine increases blood flow, and may reduce the appearance of cellulite and give your skin a more even tone.
Sugar: Removes dead skin. “The natural glycolic acid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but protects it from harsh toxins.”
Coconut Oil: Healthmummy.com states coconut oil, ” helps in preventing premature aging and degenerative diseases due to its well-known antioxidant properties.” It also may “delay the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of skin” & it is “a great skin softener and helps you do away with dry and hard skin conditions.”
Olive Oil: Moisturizes and fights bacteria, which can help reduce acne.
Honey: Speeds up your skin cells’ healing processes and reduces inflammation. Helps balance the bacteria on your skin, which makes it a great product to use for acne. Healthline.com states that, “raw honey is also a natural exfoliator, which means applying it to your face takes off dry, dull skin and reveals new skin cells underneath.”
Cinnamon: Acne fighting, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties filled with antioxidants.
