Are you a mineral sunscreen girly or chemical sunscreen girly? 🌞 Today we are reviewing the Ilia Beauty C Beyond Triple Serum SPF 40 Mineral Sunscreen.

Let’s talk a little more about mineral sunscreens, especially on dark skin..

Unlike chemical sunscreens, mineral sunscreens (like @iliabeauty) use natural ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to create a protective barrier on your skin. If you have dry, eczema prone or acne prone skin, mineral sunscreen can be a good choice because they are often gentler on the skin.

For darker skin tones, finding one that blends seamlessly is key! 🔑 Because of the nature of mineral sunscreens, in my opinion you will be able to see it on your skin, but we want to make sure it’s as transparent as possible.

✨A few tips to have it blend well ✨

✨ Pick a tinted sunscreen such a this one I reviewed

✨Apply a small amount of the mineral sunscreen to your skin and blend it in using gentle, circular motions. Make sure to blend well around the edges to avoid any harsh lines or patches. I definitely could have done a better job blending the edges! Haha

✨Use a brush for quick application
