I recently brought TonyMoly’s Avocado Sheet Mask. I have been seeing this brand in Ulta for the longest but I am just now getting the chance to try it.

Ulta has a coupon for coins off if you spend $15, and I always fall for it. They caught me again and this time around and I decided to grab this avocado sheet mask. 

What Does This Product Claim to Do?

This product claims to make your skin radiant and glowing. The packaging does not have a ton of instructions on it so, I was not sure what the condition of my skin should be when I tried this mask. So, I  just went with the best option for myself of having a bare face.

Prior to using this mask I washed my face with Pure African Black Soap and sprayed my face with my Mario Badescu Rose Water spray. This left my face very clean and ready to receive the moisture of the mask.

Ingredients

This mask contains some good ingredients. Notably, it has water as the first ingredient, following glycerin which both are great at bringing moisture to your face. It also has Macadamia Nut Oil, which has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties.

This mask also has some ingredients that are not so good, such as mineral oil. Mineral oil isn’t particularly good for our skin because it can clog pores. It also has a long list of ingredients that I am not too familiar with. I prefer to know the ingredients that I am putting on my face, just for peace of mind sake. I’ll put the list of ingredients down below so you can see if these would work for you or not.

Also, be aware that the closer an ingredient is to the top on the list, the more of it is in the product. So, this is an avocado sheet mask and it should have avocado extracts in it. As you can see it does contain avocado fruit extract in it, however it is #16 on the list.

So, always be aware of the things that are in the products that you are using to be sure you now what you are putting on your skin.

How Does This Mask Work?

This mask comes in a package like this:

So, you just rip it open and apply it to your face. That is literally what the packaging says.  LOL. “Leave it on for 20 minutes and then remove.” So, that’s exactly what I did.

When I took the mask out of the packaging the first think that I noticed was it was very wet and covered in product. So you do get a good bang for you buck.

I then put the mask on my face and this is what it looked like:👻I have big lips so it was a task to get them to fit into this little opening but I did manage to do so. Once I got the mask on my face I realized that I forgot to bring down the nose flap but about 5 minutes into the time I realized it and brought the flap down. 

How did the Mask Feel After I Took It Off?

Y’ALL! This mask was so moisturizing! Here is a picture of what my face looked like after I took the mask off. The glow that this mask gave my face was amazing.

When I took the mask off, I took the remaining product on my face and rubbed it in really good. I also made sure to bring the product done to my neck. After the product was rubbed in I did not feel the need to put any additional moisturizing product on my face.

Also, my make-up went on very nicely after apply this product. It looked so smooth. Here are some pictures:

Hit or Miss?

This mask was most definitely a hit for me. Although this mask doesn’t have the most natural ingredients in it, it still worked well for my skin.

This sheet mask was $3.75 at Ulta and can be found for a little cheaper online. I really look forward to buying more sheet masks from this brand and many others as well. Maybe we can find a more natural alternative?
